Sam's Snapshot - something a little different!

You may have seen on Twitter or Facebook that I thought I would try something a little different whilst looking back on 2017. Below is a short video of my review of the year with a few highlights of what I have been up to both in East Surrey and wider politics.

Sam Gyimah MP Re-appointed as Justice Minister

Sam has been re-appointed by the Prime Minister as a Minister in the Ministry of Justice. He commented as follows:-


'I am looking forward to pressing on with my work on prison & probation reform, & work on counter-extremism'.

Sam Gyimah re-elected with increased majority!

Sam Gyimah was re-elected as MP for East Surrey.  After the result was announced he said:-

'Thanks to the people of East Surrey for re-electing me as your MP with an increased majority, increased share of the vote & the largest Conservative vote in the constituency since 1970.

Sam Gyimah Launches Re-election Campaign in East Surrey

It's been a huge privilege to have represented East Surrey for the last seven years. This is a wonderful constituency with a tremendous community spirit, and I've been proud to have been able to speak for the area at the highest levels of government.
