Matt

We are delighted to announce Matt Groves as one of our candidates for Queens Park in the upcoming Tandridge District Council elections on 6 May 2021.

Local candidate Matt Groves is making a return to local politics. Having served for eight years in Caterham on the Hill fighting to keep our town protected from over-development and safe from crime, Matt is again putting his name forward. We welcome Matt back to local politics. He brings the experience of being Chairman of Housing and Vice Chairman of Planning when he was a local councillor a few years ago. He also chaired the Police Neighbourhood Panel (the old police community partnership) for several years.

Matt brings enthusiasm and experience to our campaign. He has lived in Caterham all his life and is very committed to our local community. Matt says: “ I welcome the opportunity to stand for election again in my home town. If elected I will again fight to defend the Hill and deal directly with people’s queries and help out on problems. With Covid restrictions I may not be able to call around on the door this year, but luckily I know many of you already and if elected will be on the end of the telephone or email to help with any issues.”
