We are pleased to announce Taylor O'Driscoll as our candidate for Westway in the Tandridge District Council and Caterham Hill Parish Council elections on 6 May 2021.
Here is his message to Westway residents.
"My priorities for our area include:
• Working to reduce crime by pushing for better CCTV coverage, improved street lighting and working with local Neighbourhood Watches to keep our area safe.
• Keeping Westway green by working to protect our green spaces, challenging inappropriate overdevelopment, and ensuring we get more bins.
• Rejuvenating our services by improving our High Street on the Hill with more support given to local business, pushing for better bus services to other Tandridge areas, especially to Caterham Valley, and ensuring residents get value for money from our council tax.
I am a lifelong Tandridge resident, having moved to Westway four years ago, and I feel passionately about our area, considering myself a community activist. I feel that our area has been underrepresented at a local level for far too long, and rather be an armchair critic, I want to stand up and do something about it. You can rely on me to fight our community’s corner.
In normal circumstances, I would have been out and about knocking on doors and introducing myself, but this is not possible due to the current situation. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please direct message me on my Facebook page here or email me at taylor@taylorodriscoll.co.uk.
The Best Way for Westway is with Taylor"
